1948 Joined at the opening of The Plessey Judo Club(BJA). 1949 Promoted to 5th Kyu by Ted Mossom 3rd Dan. Promoted to 4th Kyu by Ted Mossom 3rd Dan. 1950 Promoted to 3rd Kyu by Ted Mossom. 1951 Promoted to 2nd Kyu by Ted Mossom. 1952 Became secretary of the Plessey Judo Club. 1953 Became Judo Instructor of the Plessey Judo Club. 1959 Became Judo Instructor & founder member of the Ilford Ltd Judo Club. 1973 Joined the New Campbell Judo Club (Instructor R.Dawson 3rd Dan) joined the B.J.C(MAC). 1974 Promoted to 1st kyu by R.Dawson 3rd Dan, J Hewitson 1st Dan. Became member of the Eastern Area Committee BJC (MAC) 1975 Promoted to 1st Dan & Club Coach & Class3 Referee by W.Wood 5th Dan, R.White 4th Dan and V.Williams 3rd Dan. Formed the Marley 64 Judo Club. Became Youth leader and Coach. 1982 Promoted to class 2 referee by W.Wood 6th Dan. 1983 Promoted to county coach by D Bevan. Became Secretary of Eastern Area BJC (MAC) 2yrs. 1984 Promoted to 2nd Dan by R E White & D Bevan. Class 1 international referee by W S Wood 6th Dan. 1987 Joined Academeie de Judo Michigami. 1991 Founder member of the Busen Academy. Promoted to 3rd Dan & Examiner by W S Wood 7th Dan. Promoted to national coach by W Wood 7th Dan. 1992 Promoted to President of the Busen Academy. Joined the L`Union Europeene Des Syndicatests de Professeurs de Judo. 1993 Promoted to principal referee. Founder member of the British Judo & Budo Federation. 1994 Promoted to 4th Dan & Examiner by W S Wood 7th Dan & R Dawson 6th Dan. 1995 Accepted Life Membership of the Seki Shin Kan Chairman of the B.J.B.F. 1996 Accepted life membership of the Bushido Za Zen International Society. 1997 Promoted to 5th Dan & Examiner by W S Wood 7th Dan & R F Dawson 6th Dan. Joined I.M.A.F(Kokasai Budoin) U.K: (December) Registered in Japan by I.M.A.F & Kodokan. 1998 25 years of teaching Judo to children, and 50 years study of Judo. 1999 Promoted to 6th Dan & Examiner by W.S.Wood 8th Dan & A.Davies 8th Dan (Bushido ZaZen).
